Benefits of memory exercises
Memory exercises and visualization are key components to our therapies and e-books at Clear Pathways.
Visualization is how the brain works to remember information long-term. At Clear Pathways, we call strong visualization skills the key to academic success. Many people do not visualize at all, or consistently, and it can negatively impact their life. The good news is that these skills can be trained and are covered in depth in our e-book entitled Beyond Tutoring: Strategies to Improve Reading, Spelling Comprehension and Memory.
Strong visualization skills help to improve the following skill areas: reading comprehension (linked to reading enjoyment), memory, test-taking, writing, organization, spelling and social skills. Clients that have learned and consistently applied visualization techniques while studying have reduced their homework time by up to half and dramatically improved their grades.
In school I don't have to take as many notes. I can remember the information when the tests come and I usually do well, after the program with you. I have noticed that I can better understand what I read and what I hear. Thank you.
