While the e-books are very beneficial by themselves, purchasing an iLS home unit in conjunction with the books comes closer to replicating onsite therapy services. The iLS home unit is an ipod that is preprogrammed with frequency stimulation programs and incorporates special headphones that utilize both air and bone conduction for maximum benefit. While the combination of the e-books and the home unit do not replicate therapy at the clinic, they are a close second and a wonderful option for out of town families. The home unit and books can be used by the entire family which is a cost saving factor. The price of the home unit is $1,795 plus $24.50 shipping. The unit is not covered by medical insurance as it is considered educational.
